New! CAPPS Recruit Transition Resources
CAPPS Recruit is moving from the current Taleo application to PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM)/Candidate Gateway (CG). Beginning June 29, all new job postings and applications must be done in the new system. Desk aids for Recruit TAM/CG are available in the Desk Aids tab, under HR/Payroll Processes. Additionally, watch for new self-paced training that will be available soon.

New! CAPPS STARR Project Information
Current USAS, TINS and SPA functionality will be replaced with the CAPPS STARR (State of Texas Accounting and Reporting Resource) cloud-based system in fiscal 2027. For additional information and project updates, please monitor FMX’s CAPPS STARR system page.
Desk Aid Library and FAQs
The Desk Aids library houses how-to documents for many CAPPS processes in the Financials and HR/Payroll towers, as well as “Enterprise-level” desk aids that benefit all CAPPS users. The FAQs highlight common questions about the CAPPS systems and general questions related to user support. These sections are updated regularly, so check back often for new information.
